The Rector of the University of Maroua, Professor AKO Edward Oben has been nominated to Chair an interview panel for the position of Project Administrator for Regional Scholarship and Innovation Fund ( RSIF) of the Association of African Universities (AAU).

The RSIF is an initiative of the Partnership for Skills in applied Sciences, Engineering and Technology (PASET), which was launched in 2013 by African gouvernments. Its aim to create, throught PhD  trainings , critical mass of highly skilled African scientists and innovators in Applied Sciences, engineeering and technology (PASET) fields in priority economics sectors.
